Our Mission

The Heart Behind Rox Rescue Beauty!

“Hello and welcome! My name is Susan, and I have been an Esthetician and skin care business owned for over 25 years. Over the years, I have learned that true beauty is more than skin deep—it is about caring for yourself and the world around you. My journey took a heartfelt turn on a girls' trip when my niece and I came across a little sweet kitten in need close to Yosemite National Park. He was alone, crying, and painfully malnourished. His fragile, bony frame and heartbreaking "ow" meows were the cries of a kitten in desperate need of help.

Despite his rough start, this clever little guy quickly realized he was safe with us and began to show his sweet, affectionate side. We fondly named him Yosemite Sam! With no local rescues able to take him in because they were already full, a dear friend volunteered to foster him and we brought him back to the San Francisco Bay Area. He found a temporary home with her and soon joined the incredible rescue organization, Community Concern for Cats a remarkable organization that provided him with everything he needed – a thorough check-up, deworming, vaccinations, and neutering. This amazing group goes above-and-beyond to help cats in need, and we are so grateful for their support. Under this loving care, Yosemite Sam began to thrive. He gained weight, turned into a playful and cuddly kitten, and even bonded with my friend’s three big dogs! Just two months after his rescue, he was adopted! I am so proud of him. While I will miss visiting him, he will always have a special place in my heart. Way to go Yosemite Sam!

This experience has ignited a passion within me to do more for cats and dogs in need and I know it is just the beginning. Inspired by Yosemite Sam, Rox Rescue Beauty was created – a place where beauty and compassion come together to make a real difference. We proudly donate 5% from every order to help rescued animals. So, you are not only nourishing your skin, but together, we are turning everyday beauty rituals into acts of compassion. We believe that looking good and doing good goes hand in paw!

Please join us on this journey keeping tails wagging and purrs going strong. Thank you for making a difference, one product at a time.”

Pawsitively Grateful,

Susan Roxby
